The exterior and gardens need a serious makeover, giving off a vibe of neglect rather than grandeur. The lounge often gets taken over during certain events, forcing guests to squeeze into the reception area. Lack of TVs in the bedrooms and limited Wi-Fi can be a bit tedious, especially for those looking to unwind with some entertainment at night.

We had a fantastic time at this grand place, enjoying a cozy breakfast and the stunning views from our spacious room. The lovely gardens and great walking paths were perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Just a heads up, the outside could use a little sprucing up, but it didn't take away from our experience. 🌼

This place was a good match for a city holiday in Aberfoyle with decent value for money. The views at the front of the hotel were nice, which made for a pleasant start to the day. Just be aware that the Wi-Fi is almost non-existent, so plan accordingly.

The room featured a massive queen-size bed paired with generous single beds, offering ample space for relaxation. Cleanliness stood out, with fresh linen and a lovely view from the window, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of activities.
The exterior shows signs of neglect, which may not set the best first impression, even if there's a plan for refurbishment. Inside, the absence of TVs in rooms can feel limiting for entertainment during down times. The dining experience lacked some vibrancy, with limited menu options and a cozy yet plain atmosphere that could benefit from a touch more energy.

Had a fantastic time with my friends here! We enjoyed golfing and horse riding, which were both amazing activities. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast had plenty of choices. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. Perfect for a group stay, and we loved the cozy lounge area with the fireplace.
I noticed some areas were a bit dated and in need of maintenance, which affected the overall feel of the place.

I joined a knitting and crochet week with friends. We spent time working on our projects in a room with a big open log fire. Endless cups of tea and excellent food were available. The staff were polite and took pride in their work. The last evening had some interesting entertainment. I drove to the location, but a free mini bus could pick you up if needed.
The building needed some maintenance on the outside. No TVs were in the bedrooms, which may not appeal to everyone.
